Why I Started Grace to Grace Behavioral Health

Let me be real with you, fam—Grace to Grace Behavioral Health wasn’t born out of some fancy business plan. It was born from a deep place in my heart… a place that remembers what it’s like to be broken, hurting, and in need of healing.

I used to be one of those unhealed, hurting people I now serve. And when I experienced true healing? Whew! It changed everything. That kind of transformation lit a fire in me. I thought, “If more people could get healed, it would change the whole game.” And that’s exactly why I started this.

I wanted to build something rooted in my own mission and vision—something that felt personal, powerful, and God-led. You know that iconic Oprah moment when she’s like, “You get a car! You get a car!”? Well, my version of that is:

“You get therapy! You get healed! You get a session!”

I wanted to give people access to something that could truly change their lives—something I know in my soul makes a difference. I wanted to leave a legacy. Not just for me, but for my kids, my grandkids, and generations after me. I wanted them to see that healing is possible, and that faith, hope, and therapy can go hand in hand.

I’m a strong believer that God gave me this vision and mission. And I’m walking in it. Grace to Grace Behavioral Health is my offering to you—to remind you that healing is not only possible, it’s powerful. And once you start healing, there is no stopping you.

I love you, fam. But more importantly, Jesus loves you more.

With love and grace,
Johnita
