The Story Behind Johnita Smith’s Journey to Becoming a Therapist

I genuinely love helping people. I love to see people evolve, I love to see them reach their goals, and I just love watching their growth. I’m a solution-based person. You have a problem? Let’s find a solution. That’s how I live, and that’s also why I love being a therapist.

What inspired me to become a therapist is that I want people to be healed from their trauma, grow, and evolve. I am grateful to be a part of that process. What continues to inspire me to stay a therapist is that I see people wanting to he healed and evolve. People are accomplishing their goals, and I am honored to help them accomplish those goals.

I’m grateful that God has given me this gift: the ability to help others heal, grow, and move forward in life. It’s truly a blessing to be able to share this gift and be a part of someone’s journey toward healing and wholeness.

Being a therapist isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am. I love what I do, and I love the people I get to work with every day. I love you, fam; but remember, Jesus loves you more.
