Grace to Grace Behavioral Health was founded by Licensed Clinical Social Worker Johnita McGee Smith to provide compassionate, faith-rooted, and evidence-based care for individuals, couples, and families in Ohio.

Our practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each person’s journey. Whether you’re facing anxiety, trauma, depression, or life transitions, we offer a safe and supportive space for healing.

Our Team

  • Rachel Webb is a licensed social worker and licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC III) who supports individuals and families facing mental health and substance use challenges. She specializes in anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and addiction, using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. With experience in clinical services, recovery program leadership, and crisis response, Rachel offers compassionate, client-centered support.

    She especially enjoys working with adolescents and families to strengthen communication and build resilience. Rachel believes in meeting clients where they are and empowering them to achieve lasting healing and growth.

  • Dr. Melissa Carter, LPC is a trauma-informed therapist and clinical psychologist with nearly a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in psychological assessment, culturally responsive care, and treatment of trauma and neurodevelopmental disorders. Currently based in Ohio and serving clients in Hawaii, Dr. Carter is deeply committed to healing-centered, equitable mental health care rooted in evidence-based practice and social justice.

    She especially enjoys working with adolescents and families to strengthen communication and build resilience. Rachel believes in meeting clients where they are and empowering them to achieve lasting healing and growth.

Johnita Mcgee Smith, MSW, LISW-S

  • Johnita McGee-Smith, MSW, LISW, brings over a decade of experience in social work and behavioral health, supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most difficult challenges. She uses evidence-based therapies—including CBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approaches—to provide personalized, effective care. Johnita works with diverse populations such as incarcerated women, at-risk youth, and those facing depression and anxiety, focusing on fostering resilience and long-term healing. Her commitment to ethical, client-centered therapy ensures compassionate support tailored to each client’s unique needs. Services are offered both in person and through telehealth for greater accessibility. Johnita’s approach combines professionalism, empathy, and advocacy to empower positive change. She is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Virginia.
